Day 1: TANGIER – TETUAN – CHEFCHAOUEN.
8 days from Tangier to Marrakech via Sahara desert. Arrival in Tangier and pick up at the port or airport. Departure to Chefchaouen the Moroccan blue city, stop in Tetuán, the Spanish city, arrival in Chefchaouen. We will visit the city of Chauen. We will walk through its streets and among its old blue and white houses, and we will also contemplate its panoramic view from the Spanish mosque. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – ROMAN RUINS – MEKNES – FEZ.
After breakfast we leave to Fes, bordering the Rif forest. Arrive at the Roman ruins city of Volubilis, we will visit the ruins with a local guide, “optional”. Continuation to Meknes, one of the Moroccan imperial cities. Visit the palace and the famous gate of Bab Mansour, Dar El Maa, and the Granary. Then we will go to Fez. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 3: FEZ GUIDED TOUR.
A whole day devoted with an official tour guide to the discovery of the intellectual city of the kingdom. Many are the monuments that you can visit: Medersas (Koranic schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin. Souks, Fes El-Jedid, the Quaraouiyine Mosque (The oldest university in the world). Overnight in the same hotel.
Day 4: FEZ – IFRANE – AZROU – CEDRO FOREST – ERFOUD – SAHARA DESERT.
Departure in the morning through the Middle Atlas, to visit Ifrane city, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. The next will be the Azrou forest, known for wild Monkeys, then arrival in Midelt. We follow the path through the Tizi n Talghemt, at 1,907 meters of altitude. The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely bare, covered in a purple coat. Arrive in Errachidia and embark on the crossing of the Tafilalet massif to the Erfoud palm grove. Ride camels to the camp. Overnight in Desert Camp.
Day 5: SAHARA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – VALLE DE ROSAS – OUARZAZTE.
Departure time will be after breakfast in the Camp. Drive along the road towards the palm grove of Rissani and Jorf located on the right of the river, then towards the Ksar Touroug; framed by spectacular oases. Then we will pass through Tinejdad before reaching Tinerhir. After lunch, we will have half an hour hiking through the Todra gorges. Then we will go through the beautiful Boumalne Dades Valley visiting Kelaat M’gouna and Rose Valley, in full splendor during the month of May. Arrival in Ouarzazate, the possibility of visiting the Kasbah of Taourirt that was the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech. Overnight in the Hotel.
Day 6: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – TELOUET – ALTO ATLAS – MARRAKECH.
Today we will drive to Marrakech through Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m), the “neck of the pastures”. The slope is made by an alternative track with the option of visiting the famous kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a castle declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then we will continue our route to Marrakech, visiting Telouet Kasbah. From there we take the road around the curves of Tichka, which offers spectacular panoramic views with a multitude of colors. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 7: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR.
We start the day by walking with an official tour guide. The history of the Maghreb has always dominated, Marrakech is also a spectacular city, where there is a permanent party as you can see in the famous Jemaa el Fna Square. For several centuries it has been the most incredible popular theater in the world: snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, actors, fortune-tellers … In Marrakech, there are countless places to visit, for example, Medersa Ben Youssef, La Menara, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Agdal Garden, the Saadian Tombs, and the Badi Palace and Bahia Palaces…. free afternoon.
