3 DAYS FES TO MARRAKECH DESERT TOUR.
Day 1: DESERT TRIP FROM FES – IFRANE – ZIZ VALLEY – SAHARA DESERT.
3 days Fes to Marrakech desert tour. Pick up around 8:00 in the morning at the Hotel or Riad where you are staying in Fes, we will go to the Middle Atlas, to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. Then arrival in Midelt. We follow the path through the Tizi Talghemt or Cuello del Camella, at 1,907 meters of altitude. The relief is impressive, the mountains are completely bare, covered in a purple coat. Arrive in Errachidia and embark on the crossing of the Tafilalet massif to the Erfoud palm grove. Direction Merzouga desert and arrive in the afternoon, then we will leave in a one-hour caravan of dromedaries that will take us to the desert camp. We will make a stop in the middle of the way to see the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs a bit before continuing the trip to the camp, where we will have another hospitality tea before dinner and we will have the opportunity to go up to the great dune or the small dunes that are near the camp, to discover shooting stars and make wishes. Overnight in the camp.
Day 2 : SAHARA DESERT – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY OR OUARZAZATE.
Early morning we woke up before sunrise to watch the sunrise, shower, and breakfast, departure to Rissani, visit its Market which is the most important in the south, where all the desert nomads go to do their shopping then we leave for Erfoud where we will visit the fossilized marble factory and continue towards the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. We will arrive at one of the strong points of the South: The Todra Gorges. The channel of the Todra River has formed a gorge of vertical walls of enormous proportions and of great beauty; It is a climber’s paradise and a unique place. Lunch at the site and a half-hour walk to see the Gorges calmly. In the afternoon we continue towards Dades vally passing through Boumalne. Overnight in Dades or Ouarzazate.
Day 3 : DADES VALLEY OR OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – HIGH ATLAS – MARRAKECH.
Today, we will travel to Ouarzazate via Boumalne de Dades, El-Kelaa M’Gouna and Skoura. You will be able to admire the views of the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, Valley of Roses and the Skoura oasis while driving. We are going to get to Ouarzazate, where you can have a stop to see the Kasbah of Taourirt which was built in the Glaoui. From here we go to the village of Aït Ben Haddou, having lunch then exploring the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou. Later, you will be driven through the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m), you will have the opportunity to take photos and enjoy the scenes of the High Atlas mountains visit the ARGAN Oil cooperative, where we will discover the process of realization and they will explain to us the innumerable benefits it has for the human body.
