Day 1: TRAVELING FROM CASABLANCA – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FES:
Pick up from the Airport and head for Casablanca to visit the great Hassan 2 Mosque followed by Rick’s Café. After we will drive to Fes via Volubilis and Meknes. In Meknes, another significant imperial city in Morocco – known as the Ismaili capital of Morocco, you will see the famous gate Bab Mansour, the Sahrij Souani Bassin, and the Mulay Ismail Mausoleum. After lunch, your journey continues to Volubilis, the Roman ruins, dating to 25BC, exploring the site you’ll see some of the original mosaics are very well preserved. Continuing to Fes via the foothills of the Rif Mountains. Overnight in the Riad.
Day 2: FES GUIDED TOUR.
After breakfast in your Riad, you’ll start exploring the cultural capital of Morocco with an official tour guide, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts with the Royal Palace, the Jewish headquarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, and the Tanneries. After lunch, you’ll visit the ceramic factory and take in a panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in your Riad.
Day 3: FES DESERT TOUR – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA DESERT:
After your breakfast, we will leave Fes city towards Ifrane the Switzerland of Morocco. We will stop in the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains and get in touch with wild monkeys. Then we continue on to Midelt famous for its minerals and apple. We’ll continue along Ziz Valley enjoying the panoramic views of palm trees along the river, then we continue our journey to visit Erfoud and its fossils products. Later on, we will arrive at Merzouga desert Sahara where we will go on an adventure trek by riding camels to cross Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Overnight in Desert Camp.
Day 4: ADVENTURE DESERT EXCURSION IN ERG CHEBBI DESERT.
Your camel guide will wake you up early morning to enjoy the sunrise over Erg Chebbi sand dunes, then have breakfast and ride camels back to meet your driver, and start an amazing excursion around Erg Chebbi sand dunes. This desert excursion will give you the opportunity to explore the surrounding area of the Merzouga desert by visiting the tiny villages (such as khamlia, the village of black people who are famous for Gnawa music). After that, you will go to experience the local Souk (market) of Rissani. You will have a break for lunch then we drive you back to your hotel to relax. Overnight in the hotel, and possibly the second night in Desert camp.
Day 5 : MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE.
Today we will leave the amazing Sahara desert after a great adventure trip. Travel from Merzouga to Ouarzazate via Dades valley, Erfoud, and Todra gorge the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the gorge, we will drive through the Dades Valley, where you will see the majestic sand castles and Kasbahs, then to the rose valley, reach our destination Ouarzazate. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 6 : OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH.
After your breakfast at your hotel, we will start our journey visiting Taourirt kasbah (the former residence of the Glaoui). Then continue to visit the famous Ait Benhaddou Kasbah; the oldest Kasbah in southeast Morocco and UNESCO world heritage site before heading and driving via the Tizi Ntichka pass with stops along the way enjoying small Berber villages; before we get to Marrakech.
Day 7: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR – ESSAOUIRA:
After breakfast in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech ” the red city of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest: including Koutoubia mosque, the Saadien Tomb, the Palaces of El Bahia, and El Badi as well as the Ben Youssef Coranique School. Lunch is at a restaurant near the square, then in the afternoon, you’ll visit the gardens at Majorelle. After lunch, we’ll then drive to Essaouira. Overnight in the wave city.
Day 8: ESSAOUIRA – TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT.
